This week we honor the great poet and author, Maya Angelou.
In one of her most well-known poems, Phenomenal Woman, Angelou shares a beautiful message that
challenges convention, stereotypes, and societal beauty standards. Instead encouraging
empowerment and confidence in one’s own skin. Angelou reminds us that a woman
“is more than the sum of her parts. She is enigmatic, magnetic, and is also capable of defining her own beauty”.
